Artist Bio John Michael Kearney is an internationally known artist living in Arizona. After studying Art and Architecture in college, John Michael became interested in abstract painting. He loves the spontaneous explosion of the Abstract Expressionists, such as Franz Kline, de Kooning, and Cy Twomby. A life-long artist, John Michael now focuses on bringing his dramatic abstracts to life. John Michael is an award-winning artist. Two of his paintings received first place awards in juried painting competitions in Minnesota, USA. John Michael's work has been collected by private and corporate clients from all over the United States and Europe. Recent interest in his work has come from Texas, California, Argentina, Spain, India, and Italy. John Michael's art was featured in an Hollywood Indie movie and his contribution was mentioned on IMDB.com, the internet movie database.
